Disney vacation “what we did” summary
Eight days together, visiting magical places:
Saturday, March 10: flight to Orlando; checking into the Wilderness Lodge; boat ride to Magic Kingdom for dinner @ Tony’s on Main Street USA
Sunday: Animal Kingdom during a torrential rainstorm; Magic Kingdom in afternoon; dinner across from Haunted Mansion
Monday: Legoland & T Rex restaurant for dinner
Tuesday: Hollywood Studios & dinner @ Sci Fi Theatre; pool
Wednesday: Universal Studios & pool
Thursday: Character breakfast at Polynesian; Hollywood Studios & pool then Epcot @ night for Japanese steak house dinner & Iluminations fireworks show
Friday: photo shoot at Polynesian; Bibbidy Bobbidy princess makeover for Ainsley & Molly followed by dinner at Cinderella’s Castle; then Magic Kingdom & pool & outdoor movie at hotel on beach
Saturday: Character lunch at Crystal Palace; Magic Kingdom and return home
Bibbidi Bobbidi Princess
The highlight of your Disney trip was unquestionably the special Bibbidi Bobbidi Princess makeover. It was one of Grammy’s highlights too!
Grammy, Mommy and Auntie Nicole accompanied you to Cinderella’s Castle for the transformation which took about an hour and a half. You wanted to be Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty… and that’s who you became!
After getting made-up, we went upstairs to Cinderella’s Table restaurant where we dined with a steady stream of beautiful princesses. You and Molly were in little kid heaven! You took the whole thing very seriously… I’m sure in your own mind you actually were Princess Aurora! Imagination became reality… it was so much fun seeing you enjoy it so much.
